Housekeeping is an operational department of the hotel. It is responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, back areas and surroundings. This course is designed to provide students with the principles of housekeeping management as they apply specifically to the hospitality industry and to teach HACCP hygiene principles, cleaning room standards, terminologies etc.
